Ormedplus
First Bauerfeind quality partnership established in Eastern Europe, 24.06.2010
Polish company Ormedplus is the first official Bauerfeind quality partner outside Germany. The contract for this partnership was signed last week in Zeulenroda. Ormedplus directors Filip and Dominik Wegorek had heard of the quality partnership program in Germany. Convinced by the products and enthusiastic about the program, they became partners with Bauerfeind.
German House in Vancouver opened
Three Bauerfeind teams now in action at the Winter Olympic Games, 11.02.2010
With the opening of the German House in Vancouver February 11, the third Bauerfeind team has now begun its work at the Olympics. In Simon Fraser University, which will serve as the official mission of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) for the duration of the Games, Bauerfeind has set up an orthopedic service station.

Germany's Olympians have until February 5 to get kitted out at the military airbase in Erding. The athletes will be given some 60 items of clothing, shoes, bags and accessories for the Games, due to begin February 12, at twelve stalls in a large gymnasium. "It's just like Christmas," said short-track skater Aika Klein as she picked up compression stockings at the Bauerfeind stand.

With less than eight weeks to go before the start of the Winter Games in Canada, they are getting ready to roll at Bauerfeind in Zeulenroda, Germany. Supports, orthoses and compression stockings are just as much part of the baggage as modern measurement instrumentation, tools and machinery for customizing the products.

It was busy at the Bauerfeind Service Station in the German House in Beijing until well after midnight on the last day of the Games. A number of athletes were taking advantage of their last chance to have their foot pressure measured or were picking up their orthopedic insoles. The team’s services were in greater demand this year than at any other Games.
