As a Co-Partner of the DOSB (formerly NOK and DSB), Bauerfeind supports the German Olympic teams. For the XX Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin the company provided an orthopedic technical service team that the athletes turned to many times. In preparation for the games, athletes, team physicians and coaches took the opportunity to learn more about the products in the Medical Line and Wellness Line.
During the Olympic Games the Bauerfeind medical service team was available at the German pavilion in Sestriere as well as at the various competitive sites to help the athletes on location - preventatively or therapeutically in the case of an injury.
